    Hello Readers,
As you may have noticed, it has been a minute since my last post.  My previous post asked you to answer 5 questions about your experience with my blog.   I wanted to know if my words fulfilled a purpose beyond me clearing space in my brain.
Here are the results of that post:

    My March Madness

    Image description
March 8, 1985, just over 34 years ago. I began a relationship.  I had no idea what the future had in store for us. At the young age of barely 22 I didn’t know it at the time, but I had met my soulmate.  We had known each other for about 6 months.  We met at work.  One night after work we were having dinner & drinks with coworkers.  I had been with the company for a few years, Brenda, for just a few weeks.  In-between the group babble, we spent the evening chatting and getting to know each other.  Laughter and conversation came easy.  We decided that we needed to go out for drinks without the crowd and continue our conversations.  Before the scheduled time, several of our coworkers felt it necessary to dip in my Kool-Aid. Now... we can look forward to Christmas

    Image description
Family, friends, shelter, clothing, water, Sweet potato pie, Collard Greens, Turkey & Dressing.  Just a FEW of the things I am grateful for.  Unlike some I like to ease into the Christmas holiday season. I don't usually acknowledge the Christmas season until December 1st (at the earliest). Anything sooner it's just too much too soon and no, I am not a Grinch!

Just a quick note to say thank you.  Sometimes events happen that, in the big scheme of things... really are insignificant.  Those same things at the right (or wrong) time can seem like they are the only thing that matters... they can knock you off your game and command your focus.
Such a moment happened to me yesterday.  I was feeling frustrated, defeated, pissed off; all at the same time.  A friend walked up to me and immediately knew something was very wrong.
